A Microsoft anunciou a lista de jogos que estarão disponíveis brevemente para o serviço Live Arcade da Xbox360. o comunicado não continha datas especificas de lançamento para esses jogos, mas alguns deles já tinham sido anunciados previamente.

Harmonix e a Electronic Arts revelaram as 45 faixas que serão incluidas no jogo Rock Band. serão 58 musicas no total, e as duas companhias estão a manter secretas as restantes 13. 51 das 58 musicas serão versões originais das musicas.

Rock band está previsto para lançamento na Xbox 360 e PS3 a 20 de Novembro, e a versão PS2 a chegar a 18 de Dezembro.
Assassin´s Creed na Wii possível, mas seria diferente
Jade Raymond, produtora do jogo Assassin´s Creed, admitiu numa entrevista que seria possível uma versão Wii, mas o produto final seria muito diferente das versões PS3 e Xbox 360.
Numa recente entrevista ao gamers-spirits.de, Jade raymond foi confrontada com a pergunta se seria possível uma versão para a Wii.
"seria possível, se nós mudássemos completamente a jogabilidade, como a versão para a DS. mas não seria a mesma experiência. infelizmente, não tem o mesmo poder que a PS3 e Xbox 360"
Raymond admitiu ainda que se a Wii estivesse ao mesmo nível da PS3 e Xbox 360, a equipa tinha considerado um port para a consola da Nintendo. A versão DS ainda está em desenvolvimento mas, de acordo com Raymond, a sua equipa nada tem a ver com a versão portátil.
Assassin's Creed estará em principio nas lojas dia 13 de Novembro.
Golden Joystick Awards
Já lá vão 25 anos desde a primeira edição dos "Golden Joystick Awards". Desde então, tem-se realizado uma cerimónia a cada ano que passa para premiar os melhores videojogos do ano, tal qual os Oscars do cinema.
